Symptoms
- The printer displays “Drum End Soon”.
Causes
- The drum is nearing its replacement point.

Troubleshooting
Continue if print quality is acceptable
The warning allows you to keep printing while you prepare a replacement drum.
Plan the drum replacement
Obtain a compatible new drum. Replace it when print quality becomes unacceptable or Replace Drum appears, following Brother’s linked instructions.
When to contact support
Editorial guidance: This warning alone does not indicate a repair is required. Seek Brother support if the replacement procedure is unclear or a new drum does not resolve the issue.
Editorial note: A drum is a different part from a toner cartridge. Do not reset its life counter just to hide this warning.
