Troubleshooting
Prepare the paper
Pull the paper tray completely out. Remove any existing paper and fan the stack.
Set the guides and reload
Use the guide release levers to match the paper size. Load the stack with its printing side down and below the maximum fill mark.
Return the tray
Push the tray fully into the printer and raise the output support flap. If you changed paper size or type, update the matching printer and computer settings.
When to contact support
Editorial guidance: If correct loading does not resolve the message, consult Brother support. Do not dismantle the paper-feed mechanism or assume a roller needs replacement.
Editorial note: “No Paper T1” is a separate message. We do not treat it as an alias or claim this guide covers it.
